The Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture also takes part in modernizing horticulture by integrating smart farming principles.
This is very important because it can bring big changes in producing and managing horticultural crops.
One of the supports from the Ministry of Agriculture in implementing smart farming in horticulture is assistance in installing sensors to measure several perimeters, namely;
– Soil temperature

Data from these sensors can be accessed by farmers via smartphone or computer. The application of smart farming to horticulture can bring the future of horticultural agriculture in Indonesia to be smart and sustainable.
